A huge thank you to Adrian Thomas, Site Manager, and the staff at Cyfarthfa Castle Museum, who generously collected food and essential supplies for the local Merthyr Cynon Foodbank, part of the Trussell Trust network.

We're also incredibly grateful to Sophie Rees, Eve Bestel and the team at Fawkes and Reece, who showed their support by donating bags of groceries, toiletries, pet food and treats. By joining forces, we were able to deliver an incredible amount of much-needed supplies to the food bank.

These donations will help support local families during the six-week summer holidays, a time when many households face increased financial pressure.

Alison, Sophie and Eve received a particularly warm and heartfelt thank you from Jeff and the team at Merthyr Cynon Foodbank, based at the Gurnos Christian Centre, who highlighted just how much these contributions will mean to families across the local community.
