JWC Apprentice Awards 2021

We have held our annual apprentice awards on site at the Hafod Copperworks in Swansea and are delighted to announce this year's overall winner is our Level 3 Carpentry Apprentice, Kim Smitham.

Kim has received outstanding feedback from her college, on-site mentors, managers and the teams she works with at John Weaver Contractors.  She has previously won Gower College's Student of the Year, twice!  Throughout her apprenticeship she has shown dedication and commitment to learn her trade and do the best that she can.  Well done Kim!

All of our apprentices have been awarded with certificates and tool vouchers from 'The Ian Hawkins Fund for Young People and Apprentices', continuing his legacy and supporting newcomers into the construction industry and our company.

Also, a special mention to our Site Manager, Jamie Jarrett, a previous apprentice award winner with us, who has now successfully completed his HNC in Construction.

Congratulations and well done to all!  We look forward to assisting you all with your future achievements in your construction careers.
