Preserving History, Together!

What an incredible few days at the magnificent Cyfarthfa Castle!

We were absolutely thrilled to be part of fantastic site tours this week, hosted by Merthyr Tydfil Borough Council, with the invaluable insight of the Museum Team, and supported by The Cyfartha Foundation.

The tours were arranged for representatives from hashtag Cadw, the Historic Environment Group, and the Future Generations Commissioner for Wales, Derek Walker’s team, providing an opportunity to showcase this remarkable site and explore its rich heritage.

Walking through a setting steeped in history was a powerful reminder of the importance of preserving one of Wales’ most iconic landmarks.
