As client project manager for both the Glynn Vivian Art Gallery and The Guildhall Swansea, I found working with JWC a real pleasure. In my experience, JWC work collaboratively with the client team, design specialists and the wider supply chain in a professional and proactive way so as to minimise potential cost, quality and time issues during construction. I have found that their approach to change none adversarial and as for problem solving of difficult buildability issues on site, this has been second to none especially on projects of an historical, listed buildings nature. I have also found the finished product to be of the very highest quality.

John Weaver Contractors delivered a very high standard of services, on this difficult and fast paced project. Phasing works around the needs of patients on an almost room by room basis, the site works team performed exceptionally well and maintained very good relations with patients and Ward staff at all times.

Throughout the project John Weaver (Contractors) Ltd always worked in a professional manner and the quality of workmanship has been excellent throughout. They proactively participated in the value engineering of the construction cost to meet the budgets of all three stakeholders and their approach was carried right through the construction phase until completion. There were never any problems, only solutions. They took a collaborative approach, with an open book style of working with all parties fully aware of what was going on. The quality of workmanship was of a very high level. Evidence of which can be seen one year on where there are very few defects for such a large facility. There was no project contingency and we understand that the building was delivered slightly under the target cost. This again pays compliment to the way the project was managed by the JWC team. During the delivery of the Conservation and Restoration of Llanelly House project we found John Weaver (Contractors) Ltd. to be very pro-active and collaborative in their approach to the preparation and agreement of the Final Account. The Final Account sum was established promptly within a few months of the project’s practical completion, which was due to John Weaver’s quantity surveyor keeping on top of the project at all times.
