Apprentice Announcement
We are proud to announce that we have taken on two new carpentry apprentices as two have moved into Management.
As an employer who promotes and works closely with Women In Construction we are delighted that Kim Smitham has started her level 2 NVQ in Carpentry with us. Joining Kim, we have a new entrant Theo Waters who has started his level 1 in Carpentry.
They join as Sam Evans and Adam Merriman successfully complete their apprenticeships and move into our training management programme “The Way We Work”.
Terry Edwards, Managing Director says, “John Weaver Contractors are passionate about its people and has a real focus and drive to invest in our younger talent and offer a career of a lifetime! We have forged strong links with Women In Construction, CITB and Swansea University to ensure we offer our apprenticeships to a diverse audience and promote the construction industry. We recognise how important it is to train and develop the future generations of our business and it’s this succession planning that will continue to provide the ‘golden ticket’ for our young achievers whilst we look to embark on our continued future success.”
