Description
The works included a full refurbishment of an existing property in Merthyr Tydfil and conversion into temporary housing for 32 residents. The construction works included the creation of bedrooms, break out areas and support spaces for staff. The project includes the replacement of several bedrooms with new en-suite bathrooms, mechanical and electrical works and general construction works.
The existing building used to be a care home and requires significant remodelling to accommodate the new facilities. The front section of the building will used as transient support accommodation to provide services to both residents and the wider community. The construction works included a total refurbishment of the existing premises and installation of a new external access stairs to the upper floor. The building has been rewired, and a new mechanical plant installed.
