Description

The project involved the internal refurbishment of the Grade II listed church hall at St Catherine’s Church in Gorseinon, Swansea.

The scope of work included internal demolition and reconfiguration through the installation of new partition walls, upgrading ceiling insulation within the main hall, and carrying out drainage installations along with the refurbishment of toilet facilities. The project also encompassed new floor finishes throughout, including the refurbishment of existing woodblock flooring, as well as the installation of internal doors and associated joinery works. Further work included full internal decoration, ceramic tiling, the installation of a new kitchen, ceiling installations, and trenching for incoming supplies. Minor external landscaping was undertaken, alongside comprehensive MEP works incorporating new fixtures and fittings throughout. This refurbishment aimed to enhance the functionality and aesthetic appeal of the space while preserving its historical integrity.
