Rising Star! Jamie Jarrett up for prestigious National Woodworking Awards

Jamie Jarrett of John Weaver Contractors in Swansea, has been shortlisted for the British Woodworking Federation’s (BWF) Annual Woodworking Awards for Apprentice of the Year sponsored by CITB.

Jamie has been employed by the Company for 4 years, and completed his Level 3 NVQ in Carpentry in September 2015, and was also awarded our internal award, The Ian Hawkins Apprentice of The Year.

John Weaver Contractors operates from Swansea and across all of Wales offering the highest quality new build, refurbishment and Conservation projects for the Healthcare, Education, Residential, Commercial, Retail sectors for a variety of Clients, both Public and Private.

Jamie Jarrett will know if he has been successful in winning the award at the awards ceremony taking place at the Motorcycle Museum in Birmingham on 4 October. The awards will be presented by the one and only Eddie ‘the Eagle’ Edwards.
